Benjamin Kaplowitz

Architectural Designer III | Residential Studio

As an Architectural Designer, Benjamin generates design drawings and documents from concept through construction. With a background in creative writing and experimental film production, he later pivoted to the design field, graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. He is drawn most to designs that focus on simplicity, materiality, and a tactile experience. 

Coming to Maine by way of Texas and Colorado, Benjamin has experienced many ecologies and landscapes and is most attracted to projects that aim to integrate themselves seamlessly into their surroundings. He is particularly drawn to the rugged and wild landscapes of northern Maine.
