Project Manager | Residential Studio

As a Project Manager, Dustin’s contributions cover a broad spectrum throughout each project phase. From early design concepts to assembly detail development and eventually shovels in the ground, he is here to guide the client and team through the ins and outs of a given project.

Before joining the studio at Woodhull, Dustin earned degrees at the University of Maine at Augusta (BA) and California College of the Arts in San Francisco (MArch). In his professional career, he has split time between coasts at Simons Architects here in Portland,  LMNOP Design/Build and SHoP Architects in San Francisco, and most recently, Merge Architects and Ruhl Jahnes Architects in the greater Boston area. Through these experiences, Dustin has refined his processes and strongly believes the key to a successful project start is establishing a design language that is rooted in the client’s personal experiences and emotions, promoting inventive design specific to their perspective.

Having grown up in Maine, Dustin has seen a lot of the state and never tires of it. However, it’s an island off the coast of Friendship that he finds the most impactful. The simplicity of being off the grid, being in tune with the tides, and waking up to the lobster boats in the morning, have made this a recurring place to visit for him and his family.
