Jen Horton

People Operations Manager

Jen brings more than 15 years of human resources experience, helping growing organizations build strong teams, develop leaders, and create workplaces where people and businesses thrive. Before joining Woodhull, she spent five years in a senior human resources leadership role at another growing Maine-based company, helping guide the organization’s people strategy during a period of rapid growth. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Husson University, a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Colorado State University, and both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. Her background in business and human resources shapes a practical approach to People Operations that balances employee experience with the needs of the business.

At Woodhull, Jen leads the company’s People Operations function, partnering with leaders to create a workplace where employees are supported, have opportunities to grow, and can do their best work. She is passionate about helping employees succeed and translating Woodhull’s goals into practical people programs that strengthen the employee experience.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys exploring Maine’s rugged coastline and scenic trails, with the Cutler Coast among her favorite destinations. Her favorite days are spent hiking with her husband, discovering locally owned restaurants, and ending with a scoop of homemade ice cream.
