Katie’s background in studio art, coupled with a love for immersive experiences, led her to explore interior design as the ultimate form of interactive art. Whether it is a space we frequent every day, like our homes, or those we just pass through, she views each surface as a new opportunity to create a captivating environment. She obtained her BFA in Studio Art concentrating in photography from Washington University in St. Louis, and her MFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University.

Outside the studio, Katie enjoys exploring in the mountains with her Bernese Mountain Dog, spending time on or near the beach, and traveling to new places.
