Energy on the waterfront.

Douro is Woodhull’s third collaboration with Prentice Hospitality Group and our second restaurant together after Twelve. Just steps from its sister restaurant, Douro offers a different rhythm that feels lively, coastal, and relaxed.

Seaside warmth, Portuguese soul.

Drawing from the color and ease of coastal Portugal, the design combines hand-painted blue-and-white tile with simple natural finishes that let the food and atmosphere stand out. Custom millwork displays Portuguese canned goods and imported products, adding both texture and authenticity to the space. A round bar welcomes guests at the entrance, while communal seating encourages connection. Two private dining rooms, divided by a movable wall, offer flexibility for gatherings of different sizes.

Built on collaboration

The goal from the outset was an inviting space that feels genuine and contemporary. Details such as the warm, period-inspired entry doors and Portuguese-inspired materials reflect both the client’s trust and a shared design vision. The result is a restaurant that feels both new and rooted. It’s an easy addition to Portland’s evolving dining landscape.
